Atlanta, GA – [Winter 2025]
Viral Vocal Producer Dear Callie Announces “Black Ice” - The EP
Singer/ Songwriter and Vocal Producer Dear Callie is bringing warmth and honesty to the winter & blooming spring with her new EP Black Ice. An EP you “didn’t see coming”!
Created to offer a fresh perspective to the winter. Black Ice captures the beauty, hardships, blooming love, darkness, nostalgia and change we all experience during the winter. Dear Callie shares, “I titled it Black Ice because the winter months have felt pretty lonely for me for a while. As a full time music creative life can be very isolating. Though i’ve accomplished a lot, I’ve been tunnel vision and It’s affected my personal life. Winters are an Introspective time of year for me and by spring I’ve digested the changes my life needs. I also wanted to create a project that is genuine to the times we are In. We are living in functional depression, bills are high, groceries are high, debts are high but somehow we still find a way to enjoy ourselves lol”.
Black Ice is executively produced by Dear Callie, grammy nominated and multi-credited producers Blame Clayco, and OGTha3. The project blends influences from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s — inspired by the sounds of Etta James, Minnie Riperton, Donna Summer and Janet Jackson — with an unmistakable ATL bass twist.
Emotional and upbeat, nostalgic and new, Black Ice invites listeners to slow down, reflect and acknowledge what’s unseen and unsaid.
Black Ice out everywhere: TBD
